NEC Dual Screen Android Tablet

NEC has already launched the tablet for the time being in Japan, but they also reveal something interesting. They are going to introduce a tablet NEC Dual Screen Cloud Communicator, having Android OS, “as Android applications capture big market place”, and dual LCD-screen Android tablet will a big innovation. It has two 7-inch displays and is compatible with the use of a stylus as an alternative to the fingers. It will feature the standard things, like Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity and will be able to connect to 3G networks, too. NEC is also advertizing “industry-first,” with the communicator’s ability to run different programs on each LCD, giving the tablet a new way of multitasking.
NEC has not yet revealed how exactly the two screens, but it seems that the tablet is capable of running applications separate and distinct on each screen simultaneously. It is not know which version of Android will be used.

We will be more curious to discover the design of the dual-screen tablet, to understand how to handle two displays on a device that should be easy to use and transport, and not too thick and heavy.
