PLAYER OF THE MATCH UMER GUL
Pakistan have beaten Zimbabwe and have qualified for the quarterfinals along with Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Zimbabwe started off very well with their bowling taking three wickets in the start but later on, didn't attack enough to get the opposition all out. Their star bowler was Ray Price with 2/21 in his 8 overs. Pakistan on the other hand, were good with their batting. Mohammad Hafeez scored 49 at the top but the highest scorer for them was Asad Shafiq with 78 not out. Umar Gul was declared the Man of the Match for his wonderful bowling.
