Lasith Malinga claimed six wickets as Sri Lanka cruised to a comprehensive 9-wicket win over Kenya in their ICC Cricket World Cup Group A match in Colombo. Batting first after winning the toss, the minnows were dismissed for 142 inside 43 overs, and Sri Lanka made light work of the chase by overhauling the target within 19 overs, led by an unbeaten half-century from Upul  Tharanga.
Malinga (six for 38) ran through the Kenya line-up en route to the second hat-trick of the tournament, following Monday's effort by Kemar Roach for West Indies against Canada.In the 2007 tournament, Malinga took four wickets in four balls against South Africa. He remains the only bowler to achieve such a feat and has also become the first to take more than one World Cup hat-trick.
